I work as web designer at Farnell in Leeds we support several community projects at work. I went tree planting last year which was great fun and we were asked if we had any ideas for new projects to help the local community, I jumped straight in with School Mural design.
I liased with Caroline Walker from Farnell and we set up a meeting with the local school, I met the deputy head and the business in the community representative and we discussed ideas that I had and look round to see where would be best to have the mural, I based the mural design on the same style as my free colouring pages, they loved it straight away.
Its taken quite a long time to get it done, due to being so busy at work but its finally taking shape, still a few bits to do, will post a final picture when it done. Click to see the full gallery of how it looked before and the murals progress.
My latest project is organising and running the Three Peaks Walk for a charity called the SMA Trust.
